It is not enough to do the work, it must be born in God, conceived by the very Spirit of God, linked to the head of the Church who is Christ, and more, not only initiated but also led by the Holy Spirit. God’s work is done by the Holy Spirit with the participation of chosen and sent men who submit to his direction and power, human works are done by men who seek to give some participation to the work of the Holy Spirit. We learn later that we have two levels of involvement with the Holy Spirit, the smallest of which is that we decided to do the Work of God and we seek his cooperation and the second level and the most desired is when He calls us to cooperate with the Work that he Is doing. Looking at the works at the human level, we will see that the results clearly bring with them many inherent errors and sometimes result in great failures, which differs in essence and results from a legitimate work of the Holy Spirit. Human initiative works not only produce failures, but their results will also be at odds with God’s perfect purpose, and may even act to hinder the Work of God in your life.
